My Role and Applying User-Centered Design
As the design lead for this project, I wanted to make sure our work was all about the users. I worked with a team of three other designers to make this happen. Here's how we approached it:
Empathy: We talked to educators and students to really understand what they needed from our platform. This helped us see things from their perspective.
Defining the Problem: Together with my team, we figured out what issues were most important to tackle. This made sure we stayed focused on solving the right problems.
Generating Ideas: We brainstormed a lot of ideas on how to make the platform better. We wanted to be creative and come up with new solutions.
Prototyping: We made rough sketches of our ideas to see how they might work. This helped us visualize our solutions before building them.
Testing: We asked users to try out our designs and give us feedback. This helped us make improvements based on what real people thought.
The Establishment of a Comprehensive Design System
In parallel, we developed a comprehensive design system. This system served as a set of guidelines for design consistency, ensuring a unified and user-friendly experience throughout the platform.
Redefining Brand Identity
Our journey also involved redefining Knomadix's brand identity. Through ideation and multiple design iterations, we crafted a brand identity that aligned seamlessly with the company's ethos and resonated with its target audience.
Enhancing UI/UX Design
Our goal was to transform the platform's appearance and usability. We simplified the user experience, improved navigation, and ensured a seamless journey for users.
Website Design & Development

Interactive Bot Experience
An exciting addition to our project was the introduction of interactive bots designed for K-12 students. These animated companions provided timely interventions and enhanced personalization within the platform's learning ecosystem.
